We were camping in SW Saskatchewan. I had never seen a Ferruginous Hawk before and hoped to find one and photograph it. Driving down the highway, we spotted this beauty perched on the post. It let me take a few shots and then it flew, but I was thankfully ready for action and grabbed a few as it flew off. I love how he/she is staring me down as it flies away!
