This past summer my backyard has been chosen as a safe spot by a couple of new Doe moms to bring and drop off their new fawns while they go off to forage and do whatever it is Does do. I am honoured as I was able to watch the young babies frolic, sleep and grow up before my eyes. Every once in awhile a buck would show up also.
