I was out hiking this summer when I came across this bat who was hunting insects. It was amazing to watch a bat during the day and see the details as the sun illuminated it's wings. It rested on a tree a couple of times which is when I captured this photo. After doing some research I believe this is a Western Long-Eared Myotis.
