Walking a woodland trail in Algonqui Park just before dawn, I got the distinct feeling I wasn't alone (the sound of crunching undergrowth was also a bit of a give away). I stopped and waited for a few minutes to see who my hiking buddy was, when a young bull moose walked out of the mist to check me out.
