Winter around Vancouver is an exciting time for wildlife. As many of the trees lose their leaves, hidden creatures become more exposed. It is the best time of year to view owls. Every year these Short Eared Owls return to hunt and typically put on quite a show as they battle each other and their arch enemies the northern harrier.
