These beautiful sea lions were 2 of many that swam by the point of one of my very favourite spots to sit with my camera. Due to the cold, nutrient rich waters here, the amount of wildlife that swims and flies by is remarkable. In the case of the sea lions, they would take about 7 or 8 breaths in quick succession before disappearing beneath the waves again to forage for food.
