On a rather cloudy day I went for a walk in the forested area on the west side of town looking for a Stellar Jay that was reported to of been in the area . I came across a lot of other birds but no Stellar and then a noisy commotion caught my attention and it turned out that a number of Northern Flickers , Blue jays and a northern Flicker were harassing this beautiful Northern Hawk Owl and chasing it all over the area I was in . After about 30minutes they left him alone and he went back to hunting mice . The time spent with this beauty will be something I will never forget .
