Winter Rural Scene With Roosting Snowy Owl

One fine winter afternoon we went for a country drive north of us to look for the regal and beautiful Snowy Owl. It was a mix of sun and clouds and to my delight we did spot a couple of Snowy's. This particular female bird of prey had just landed on the fence post in this farmer's field. The red barns, rustic fence with wire and wood, the tree line and semi cloudy sky made a lovely snowy winter rural scene on this country road between Arthur and Fergus Ontario Canada. Now you add in the Arctic beauty and you get one perfect day!
