With their white heads and bright yellow beaks, Bald Eagles are the kings & queens of the rainforest in my eyes (although they have stiff competition with numerous other incredible animals). To me there's nothing like seeing such a beautiful bird in the old growth forests amongst the dripping ferns and saturated moss. Something about it just seems so right. This beauty was patiently scanning the river below as thousands of chum salmon swam underneath, on route for their life's final mission.
