This photo was taken in March 2019 in George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary, British Columbia. I saw a sandhill crane feeding not far away from the walkway. I crouched down and tried to get the best angle for a photo. Its eyes are so keen and gorgeous. Every time when I look at it, I am truly attracted by its beauty.
