On a recent trip to British Columbia, my son, parents and I walked the Sea Wall, myself with my new Sigma 600mm in tow. I spotted this blue heron on the rocks away from the bathing area. He then decided that I had taken my share of photos and moved on to the beach with the swimmers. I walked on in and managed to get this shot of him.
