Atlantic Puffin - these are seabirds that are only 8-10 in length and are extremely fast flyers. However, taking off and landing they are very awkward looking. This guy was trying to get enough speed running across the water to take off. This was taken from a boat out near Pearl Island Nova Scotia so was a challenge to get a clear shot as the boat was moving with the waves as well as the puffins.
