You just never know what to expect when you are waiting for wildlife. Waiting for a moose that never arrived I was entertained by this loon. It swam around a small point out of sight for a bit. I heard the start of the take off before I saw it. The sound is unmistakable. I was lucky enough to capture some of take off before the loon was gone.
