The Great Bear Rain Forest in British Columbia is a place of wonder. I named this little bear cub ‘Hope’. His mother is a Kermode ( Spirit) bear named Strawberry. He did not get his mother’s white coat, but within this little charmer lies the hope of him passing the gene on to his offspring. We watched this pair from a zodiac as they travelled along the coast eating barnacles.
