I've rarely seen Hermit Thrushes on the island, but this past October, I saw three in a row. This photo was taken while I was down at the Bay photographing a pair of Oyster Catchers. I heard a strange, but familiar call behind me and turned around to discover this sweet Hermit Thrush picking Arbutus berries.
