Play Ball

I was standing behind a chain link fence watching five fox kits playing and pouncing in each other. One of them left the group, walked up to me and laid down on the other side of the fence, with a ball of all things! He must have found it during his wanders, in this photo he looks like he wants me to play with him. He spent about ten minutes playing with the ball, tossing it and chewing it before he picked it up and went back to his siblings. I have no idea why he brought it to me, I guess he knew the fence was there so I couldn’t get to him, I’ll never know, but I cherish the time I had with this cutie!
