Salmon on the Rocks

I was practising taking photos of waves at the inlet. As I shot a burst of photos to catch the waves rolling in, suddenly this huge salmon was flying through the air! On the other side of that breaker there were fishermen catching salmon, somehow this one ended up in this inlet, which leads nowhere. The next wave pulled him back into the water off the rocks. I was so surprised, I’ve never seen a salmon before so I had to go show the fishermen and they confirmed it for me. Best fish I’ve ever caught before!
