I got to know a few of the Canada Goose mates from Jericho Beach Park while I was staying in Vancouver this past March and felt very honoured to be able to photograph them while they bathed and preened in the beautiful morning light. I love this portrait shot because, for me, it reveals the tenderness I witnessed between these mates.
