The King

This is the shot I am most proud of in my collection. I am not only proud of this shot because of the way it looks, but the difficulty with which it was obtained. This was not a lucky shot, I planned when and where the sun was going to rise over the mountiains, what angle I should take, and then drove around for a few days finding the spot where these elk would most likley be, and then laid prone in a feild for over 3 hours in the cold waiting for the sun to peak up behind the mountains and hit the horns just like this. I worked very hard to get this exact shot, and I got it. That is why I am so proud of it!
