I sat watching this little Muskrat dive below ice to bring food to the surface, in sub zero temperatures, for over an hour. At one point, the muskrat dived in, narrowly escaping a swooping Peregrine Falcon that regularly scours the area. The tough little muskrat came back up to carry on eating as if nothing had happened
