This is one of the male White-tailed deer fawns, who we used to see in our backyard during the summer. He was a real character and just sauntered along while I stood and watched him grazing in our "lawn-gone-wild". I would gently shoo him away, though, if he started getting near any of the tender plants which might not survive after being nibbled on.
