I found this little black-tailed fawn just off the path, basking in the warm afternoon sun by some overgrown blackberry bushes. As I approached this gentle creature began grooming itself. This was a good behavioural sign from the youngster indicating that it was not perturbed by me being there so I snapped a few photos and went on my way crossing paths with respect.
