This young subadult female Grizzly Bear, a resident in the area, was foraging along a steep wall of rock weed and blue muscles. Everyday she moves with the rhythm of the tides, scraping mussels as they become exposed, and racing the tide on its way back up. She blended in well with her surroundings with dark legs and a golden brown back. You can see the white patches of muscles that have been scraped off the wall by this hard-working Grizzly.
