Mother Of Grizzlies

There was a torrential downpour, as I watched this beautiful Grizzly mother of two travel along the shore. This is her territory, and she has raised many cubs in her lifetime. She's fiercely loyal to her cubs, who have survived their first winter and are still sticking close to their mother. I watched her climb onto a cluster of rocks to get a better look at her surroundings, so as to better protect them from danger. The drama of the rain beating down and this wild Grizzly sow never wavering in her quest to keep her little ones safe and find food to survive made for an emotional moment I will never forget.
