Hummingbird Iridescence

This male Ruby-Throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) used this perch to guard a nearby feeder. When he landed with his back to me and turned his head towards me, I was able to capture the amazing feather detail and iridescence of both his back and gorget (and a catchlight in his eye).
