This photograph was taken along the Top of the World highway west of Dawson City, YK. Each year the Fortymile caribou herd passes through the area during their annual migration, and I was lucky enough to see them on their way through this past July. The kicked up dust in the background is from other spooked caribou (due to passing cars) advancing up the ridge behind them.
