Arctic fox is the smallest wild canid found in Canada. And you can find a number of them at the Montreal West Island Ecomuseum, a zoological park as a matter of fact. The fur of an arctic fox can be white, brown or grey and apparently changes with the seasons allowing it to camouflage with the snow in the winter for example. However this one remains pretty white in the heat of the summer. I prefer this shot in the summer as it shows more contrast with the surrounding. In particular I like the focused gazing eyes.
