The hardy Canada Geese, Branta Canadensis, are braving the snow and cold on the Speed River in Guelph Ontario Canada. We have quite a few geese that overwinter here as they can still find food in the unfrozen rivers. These waterfowl mate for life, so it's a case of "where you go I go!"
