As I was on the water taxi about to start my hike across the north coast trail on the northern tip of Vancouver Island we came across a few orcas and these two surfaced for air at the same time a cute calf and probably its mother. I have seen orcas a few times but never a young one before so I was happy to have snapped a shot of them together.
