I submitted this shot previously but did not enter a category. I was worried this might disqualify my photo so I am re-uploading it with the same comment below: "I found a horned owl nest inside of Calgary city limits. I spent quite a few weeks returning to the nest waiting fore them to hatch, then for the right lighting and angle and was finally rewarded as I stood at the base of the tree looking straight up and this little guy was peering straight down at me!"
