Stealth

Despite being found across most of my home country, the secretive nature of the Canada Lynx makes them an extremely rare sight. It was an incredible experience to encounter this wild cat in the forests of the southern Yukon, by Kluane National Park. It paused briefly as it made its silent trek through the trees. With my eyes, I saw the lynx standing beautiful and bright amid a dark and dense forest. However, the colour image didn’t quite capture this feeling. By converting the image to black and white, I loved how the Lynx popped out of the dense forest, while still showcasing its incredible camouflage.
