This is "Ollie" the sea otter. He is the only resident sea otter around the Victoria, B.C. region. Though most sea otters don't spend much time on land, Ollie is a bit of an oddball, and he is known to haul out onto the rocks quite frequently over the winter months. Here he is posing in a beam of sunlight.
