This photograph was taken in the Northwest Territories just past the Yukon boundary along the Dempster highway. Just minutes prior both the animals and myself were in sunny skies; then we were engulfed by cloud. At the time several hunters on the Yukon side were looking on, hopeful the animals would cross into their territory. However, that cloud dashed any hope of a successful hunt as the caribou wandered off, lost in mist.
