The Long Sault Parkway is a picturesque road in Eastern Ontario that links 11 islands on the St. Lawrence River. Previously hilltops, this area was inundated by the construction of the Moses Saunders dam. Camping, bird watching, and other recreational activities are popular in the area, and the drowned remains of old settlements, called the Lost Villages, can still be seen from the air today.
