When I go out looking specifically for butterflies and birds on flowers I very rarely find what I want, but on this day, at the sunflower field in Ariss Ontario Canada, I was actually rewarded. A vibrant Viceroy butterfly rests on a brightly colored sunflower, surrounded by lush green foliage. The contrasting colors of the butterfly's wings and the sunflower petals create a strikingly beautiful scene.
