When the sky explodes while you’re camping 🏕️ We snagged a last minute spot backcountry camping in Roger’s Pass BC just in time for a KP8 solar storm. Knowing we’d be battling a full moon and cloud cover early in the night I set my alarm for 3am for once the moon had set… grab some shut eye and wake up fresh to shoot some aurora images. I figured it might be worth running a Timelapse, just incase I missed anything while sleeping. 💤 You can imagine my astonishment when I checked the Timelapse footage back to see what had been going on!
