Stopping at the Horseshoe Canyon Overlook is always something we do. This particular day, the temperature was very hot. The paths meandering through the badlands looked tempting but it was not something we were prepared to undertake with the heat that we had. So I took a few pictures while at the overlook and contented myself with that.
