2024 turned out to be an extraordinary year for seeing the northern lights. This year was the peak of an eleven year cycle that sees a heightened level of solar activity and intensity. And that resulted in our wonderful aurora viewing opportunities. In my corner of northwest / central BC clear skies are not a given so we were thankful when all the stars aligned!
