While conducting nesting box surveys we watched this Tree Swallow performing acrobatics and catching insects mid-air, its iridescent feathers reflecting the sunshine. Many insect-eating birds are currently threatened or endangered, facing pressures that could lead to declines if conservation efforts aren’t prioritized.
