We were out for a drive in an area I've never been before and I saw something on the power lines. We turned around and parked a little ways away, as I got out of the truck and got my camera ready, another vehicle drove by and spooked the owl. I thought I had missed my chance, but it changed course and flew right towards where I was standing and landed in the first row of trees behind me. I was so lucky!
