Celestial Insurgence

On May 10, 2024, we experienced an incredible aurora storm that lit up skies worldwide. As we enter a solar maximum, moments like these are bound to be etched into our memories for a lifetime. That magical evening inspired awe across the globe, with stunning images shared and celebrated everywhere. This particular shot holds a special place in my heart, it was captured at one of my favourite spots here at home in the Canadian Rockies, Vermilion Lakes, with Mount Rundle standing majestically in the background in Banff National Park. The skies exploded with vibrant colours unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
