Nelson's Big Orange Bridge (aka BOB) is probably it's most imaged landmark. But this bridge wasn't always orange. For it's first decade it was silver. It was repainted orange in the late 60s, possibly for aircraft visibility. Later yet, the lower half was repainted. Which subsequently has faded to a pinkish orange. So now BOB is a two-tone orange iconic landmark. Even so, it makes for a great photography subject.
