Autumn is waaaaay too short. For the week (or maybe two) of peak vibrant colours, it is such a fleeting moment of time that occurs annually. Insects are issues some years as the leaves tend to turn a dull brown and die before autumn arrives. There were many areas within central Newfoundland where that happened in 2024. Fortunately, the impact only dulled the colourful of autumn bloom slightly.
