Wasnt the greatest storm chasing season but In August, while scores of chasers targeted a northern cell, I went south and waited for a storm to pop, with was one of the prettiest storms Ive seen in a long time. Took a couple of baseball sized hailstones on the roof as a reward, but well worth it.
