Finally Foxy

I've been looking for Red Foxes for years. From live dens to abandoned dens, tips from friends and other photographers, travelled hundreds of kms - nothing. I was heading to set up at a gallery for an upcoming show and had left my camera and lens in the house (a cardinal rule I have is NEVER leave home without it)... Thankfully my wife forgot her coat and in that extra moment, I decided that I should go grab it... 5 minutes later, while travelling a road we've travelled THOUSANDS of times, we had to stunning Red Foxes cross in front of us and they gave me time to pull over and capture them. This is one of those! Although it is not an overly impressive capture (I've have had far better since), it's a reminder to never give up, always bring your camera and be ready for when mother nature decides to reward you!
