Told that one hadn't been sighted and that it was highly unlikely, you can imagine my elation when having the opportunity, albeit brief, to capture this highly elusive and incredibly beautiful animal! The Arctic Fox is slowly dwindling in the Churchill area due to illness, but also due to the influx of the Red Fox, which actively hunts the Arctic Fox.
