High Key Bullfrog

During a weekend at a cottage with a group of friends who were not photographers, I knew the opportunities to go out looking for and photographing wildlife were going to be slim to none, but I had brought my camera anyway, just in case. While I didn’t go far, I did spend a couple of hours down at the water’s edge with frogs. It was an overcast afternoon, so the light was very soft, but there was lots of it. The water was also quite calm, which made for a very plain, light, neutral-coloured background, so I thought it was a good opportunity to try for some high key photos, and I liked how this one turned out
