This juvenile male Bullock’s Oriole (Icterus bullockii) was probably the most photographed individual bird in Toronto during early 2024. Not uncommon in the western parts of Canada, it is a rare vagrant to the east, and it therefore attracted a lot of birders while it stayed for about 3 months in High Park. The photograph was captured on the 07.04.2024 using a Panasonic Lumix G-81 equipped with a Leica 100-400 mm lens.
