The early morning heavy fog painted the world with soft hues of orange and pink; blending ocean and sky into a warm glow of light. The feeling seemed to slow the world, dulling the harshness of daybreak from the horizon into a calm, stillness. With California sea lions slowly making their way from a night feed for some, to a morning wake for others, the drawl of their continuous barking, only faintly becoming more prominent from that of night. They stretch tall towards the dampened sun and let out great yawns and harsh words to one another as the cool day begins.
