Vision

You know when you get that "vision" in your head and you really hope you can fulfill it one day? This was that vision! I have seen Pygmy owls in our area, but not very often. This spot is where I walk my dogs everyday and once I saw the plants around the lagoon, I wanted to see if there would ever be a chance a Pygmy owl would land on one. I just couldn't believe my eyes and luck when this Pygmy owl made it all come true. I had to photograph between some willows, which proved to be a challenge, but I feel it gave a really neat effect for the photo. I don't think I will ever get this opportunity again, so I was very grateful to be in the right place at the right time.
